82-92 Door differences. Help!

I just installed a 92 door in my 83 camaro. I t fits right except after I bolted the gfx back on there is a gap between the bottom
of the door gfx and the cars gfx. These peices are not adjustable so my question is are the doors slightly different? What the hell do I do now? Everyone who sells used parts lumps 82-92 door together like there all the same. Classic Industries on the other hand only sells door skins for 85-92 camaros. Was there a change from the 82-84 to the 85-92 doors?
Thx in advance.

The doors aren't any different, but its possible the holes are not quite in the right place. Try opening up the holes a little bit with a drill or a dremel to gain some more adjustment.

I'm pretty sure the holes on the 82-84 doors are really low...the ground f/x is thin.

The holes for the 85-92 are higher due to the thicker ground f/x.

At least this is the case for Firebirds.

So I need to use two doors from any group? Or just stick with 82-84? Now the two sides of my car are different and it bugs me.
