Steering wheel change

Has anybody ran across this problem? My 'bird doesn't have tilt steering, so when I want to push the clutch, my leg hits the wheel. The same thing happens with the brake. I'm thinking of getting a Grant that is an inch or two smaller in diameter but I need to know what the size of the stock wheel is so I don't have the same problem. Anybody know?

Measure it? The Grants are somewhat smaller in diameter.

You must have some very long legs. My 86 Firebird and my 86 Camaro didn't have tilt, but I never came close to having those sort of problems.

For what it's worth, the firebird had the stock wheel and the camaro had a grant. The grant was cheesy and cheap, but its size was more comfortable.

Another option could be to swap in a tilt column.

here is the wheel i am running right now. it is a 13" and with my current guage setup and manual steering box, it is a bit too small and i will be going back to the stock wheel. might sell it if your interested, only has about 100miles on it, VERY clean and comes with everything to install.
