A/C Delete box question
I have an A/C delete box, installed blower motor from old a/c box and the blower wheel is too large for the hole in the firewall. Does this require a blower wheel made for a model with out A/C?

or for those wanting a much more professional looking installation, you can make a spacer out of metal or wood, paint it black, and it'll completely disappear.

how much of a gap from the long blower motor do you get??? I am wondering how thick of a spacer one would need if they didn't have the corrcet non- a/c blower. anyone know if some place like Napa might sells the cage, maybe that would be the cheapest and easiest way to go hhhhmmmmm........................

why dont you just swap it for the smaller assembly?
junk yard or one from one of us like myself who have some laying around
even one off an old 67-87 truck without a/c would work
or s-10
or you name it
pretty much any GM one fits and works
90% of them anyways
good luck

what i did was replace the wheel, and became good friends with silicone. works better than a gasket, as i don't plan on taking it apart. at the time i was looking for a "quick fix". i still have to replace the resistor. just got the motor installed and wanted to put a couple miles on it before i parked it for winter.
the gap that i had was about 1/4 inch. maybe a tick less.

I installed a AC delete box and I never had a problem with anything hitting. I hooked it up, turned it on, and it worked fine. Is that normal?
