Seat covers for leather 4th gens?

Ok so I know Hawks and other people sell phaux leather ones or whatever.. thats not what I'm looking for tho.

My drivers 4th gen leather seat cracked on the back at the stiching right smack in the middle of the seat. I dont think there is any way to repair it without it being noticable. My question is do they make GM leather covers? Or does anyone offer something IDENTICAL. Just need to cover one seat all the others are perfect, but I dont want it to not match either. So.... looking for options, dont really wanna buy a whole other set just to get 4 matching seats. I assume I can probably get a upholstrey shop to make one but I'm thinking they wouldn't match exact either and would cost more than 4 new seats...

I work for a shop that does a big business in aftermarket leather.

I recently bought trashed, cheap cloth 4thgen seats for my car and put leather on them.

Anyway, the company that makes the covers is called Katzkin. Another company is Roadwire. Go to katzkin.com or roadwire.com and you can see what the patterns look like.

Next, call up some local automotive trim shops and see what they have to say. I have NO idea if Katzkin will sell just one piece, or how much it might cost.

If you see a new-car dealer (even if they don't sell GM) that puts aftermarket leather in their new cars, see if you can get them to tell you who they use for the work. They probably will not want to tell you, as they sell the leather at a markup, but it couldn't hurt to ask.

Also, there are people who go to car dealerships to repair minor damage---------every day in my travels, I meet guys who fix dents, scratches, cigarette burns, torn leather, cracked windshields, etcetera.........if you look through the Yellow Pages you might find one of these people........even though you think your seat is unrepairable, it can't hurt to try.

from what i saw @ katskin it looks like it'd be cheaper to simply by the leather set from the get-go....heck, even though i got my full cloth 4th gen set for only 30 bux, looks like it'd cost more to recover the cloth to leather, than to just buy leather 4th gens from the start.

This is the best site I have found so far. Price for my 88 in black leather was little under $700.00 front and back.

Thanks for the help. I'm going to take it to someone my dad told me about that might be able to fix it. If not I might just have all the centers redone in houndstooth kinda like the 30th ann seats.
