ok i need to find out some things so i hope someone can hewlp me here it would be greatly appreciated

the 82 trans am i am on the hunt for replacement unbroken console related parts, basically every console part from the car is broken in some way or another, whether it be corners of shift plate busted off or the console body shell cracked at right front of it where it starts to curve up towards dash where ashtray is at basically

and the ashtray lid came off the metal backing plate(that has the spring and all that)
the four plastic pegs busted,
the four peg holes are drilled through the backing plate and this is how the lid stays on the plate, but isnt anymore, its separate now,

i need to know what type plastic all this interior plastic is on these cars, i am thinking this stuff is all ABS ?

or no ?

can i get my hands on some kind of plastic repair gun or something that will melt and apply plastic(preferably black) ?

what can be used as a shaper ? sandpaper ?
plastic file of some kind ?

bottom line is a i have a cracked apart spot on upper console frame/cap near ashtray hole corner, and corners busted off auto shift plate

need to add to and repair these


thanks for any info as to how to repair this broken stuff, where to find tools to shape it, etc, and where to find plastic and tool to melt and apply it
