eew!! Dog breath!!!

My interior kinda smells a bit funky...either like

1. Old interior
2. Dog breath
3. Dog breath
4. Dog breath
5. Dog breath

I'm not sure....but I think it may be 2 - 5?

So, does anyone know how to gwet rid of stinky smells inside of an interior aside from airing it out?

Oh yes, I shall try the febreeze! I forgot about that. And that coffe bean thing? Hmm...I'll try that too! I wouldn't mind the smell of fresh brewed coffee in my car

I'd get so many speeding tickets if my car smelled like coffee, likely between lateé shops...

FIRST.... make sure the carpets and seats are dry and theres no mildew growning in the car, if there is, the smell will just come back.

They make a febreeze for cars now... I can't tell the difference, but it got the dog breath out of my car, lol

Steam clean should kill anything living/growing in the carpets.

you can also take some standard charcoal brickuetts <sp> like for grilling. stick em in a sock or nylon and leave it in the car it will absorb all the odors. works great for closets and garage basement ect...give it a try.

Coffee grounds, not beans. Its an old used car dealer trick. Empty a whole can of cheap coffee grounds into your car. It'll absorb the smell in a few days and if there's no mildew growing in your car it won't come back.

Fabric sheets that you use in the laundry work to. When I used to work at RentWay we used them in the refirgerators to get the nasties out. They really work. I put one sheet under the seat in each one of my cars.

if you can track the smell to some doggy drool spots, then your best bet would be to spray it down with wd-40. Give it time to dry and evaporate, and you won't have any problem smelling either wd40 or dogy breath again.

My dad used this method on his work boots and was aloud to bring them back inside the house again

Steam clean the interior. I have one of those bissel carpet cleaning things with an small attachment on a hose with a spinning brush that works well in the car.

You can't cover up an odor expectiong to get rid of it. It might mask it with feebreze or the like for a while but thats it. You need to remove the source of the smell to get rid of it.

A good cleaning. Then after it has dried you can try sprinkling baking soda all over the place, leaving it for a while then vacuuming it up.

Not that i would think you would have anyreason to worry.
but if you use alot of freebreez in your car if you ever get pulled over. You could possible be the subject of a car search.

A lot of the youth around here use it to cover up the smell of weed and other substances so dont just drench you car in it... They may think your hidding somthing... hehe..

JUST A FYI. and good luck with the smell.
