many have, depends on brand, they can be a direct bolt in or needing a little modifacation.
One thing tho, is dont just drille holes in the floor pan, floor pans are like 16ga steel and will bent in the event of an accident. Try your best to remove the stock support bar, and reweld it where it can be used most. If at the vewry least modify your brackets to bolt to the stock mounts. Maybe make an extension plate....

take them in? like pay a shop that charges $60 an hour to install seats you could do in 3 hours, and you'll prolly end up with a bill for 10 hours of work for their soda breaks. Please dont do that. Man if you lived closer i'd do it for you. gosh, try something on your own, its not too hard.

depends on the brand and options. if you buy corbeau do not buy their brackets for 82-92 as they are too tall, if you have to buy them buy their 93-02 f-body brackets as they are lower.
if you buy recaro they don't make brackets, you'll need to outsource, do a search here and you'll find the website. look up wedge engineering, theirs are right on with height however depending on your interior options you may have to modify slightly.
just about any seat will fit, the brackets are the tricky part.

I got APC seats. I wanted to keep my power seats and DID NOT want to drill new holes in my floor boreds. So i got some 4inch wide by 2-3 feet long bars of steel and drilled new holes in them and used them. Only took about 4 hours.

APC are the ones i got also, install was a pita, but look ok and the coin was right... so in they went. i modded the stock brackets
wich dont allow the seat to adjust. they are locked in one place.
its fine for me, i am the only one who drives the car.

I put a nice set of Sparco Torino seats. Iused full manual seattracks from an 86 Trans Am. All I had to do was drill 2 new holes in the track to bolt it to the seat, otherwise it was a breeeze!
install time - 20MINS!

i did a set of APC seats. as far as the brackets go i got some flat stock and welded a box frame and bolted the stock brackets to it. my friend has a monte with the same seats and he went with wedge enginerring brackets. they are really nice brackets but i didnt want to spend the money on some thing like that were the money could be spent elsewhere.

iroc2nv.... I put a set in my car a few mo. back. Very easy to do.
There's no need for you to have a shop do it for you.. Your car, your mod, you should do the work. Not only will you know nothing was messed up, but you'll have the pride of knowing you done it yourself. Plus you'll have more cash in your pocket.
Here's the info I posted on here about my install. All the need to know stuff, info on how I did it, plus pics of how I did it, and parts list.
Take a look

Also you may want to look at this.. It was a topic on race seats that I replied to alot, even posted a pic of when I 1st started the brackets for mine

finally finished the recaros over the weekend, the brackets from wedge engineering would have been right on in stud location but i had the cage so i had to move the passenger 2" and the driver only required opening the holes a bit. the front of the seats sit a bit higher then i'd like but still lower then my corbeaus at their lowest point. the rears once adjusted fit perfectly, with things set as low as possible i'm 1.5" lower then my lowest angle with corbeau which is very nice.
took roughly 1 hour to get it all together. the brackets were $150 from wedge. same as the $150 from corbeau.
good luck.

i made brakets to bolt my recaro's in out of 1/8 inch aluminum. my brakets for both driver and passenger seats weigh 15 ounces. the seats however, are heavy. i plan on buying a set of fixed-back seats soon, as the drivers side power/heated recaro weighs 35lbs with the braket.
