Transmission: 5speed
will these doors fit

the only doors i can find for my car at the junkyards are off newer firebirds and TA's will they fit my 83, thanks for any help

if the door is newer than 92, no chance.

so will any door from 82 to 92 fit my car and still look right

Yes. The only difference will be the ground effect peice on the bottom of the door. Just reuse your old one.

Of course youll have to take the gfx peice of the junkyard peice for it too look right if it has one.

On my '83 Trans Am I needed better doors. I got some off of a GTA, it was a later 80's model. The door panel did not match the interior, and the way the armrests line up is different from '83 to the late 80's.

Drilling out old rivets and such is what is required to properly reuse the '83 door panel (if that is what you choose to do) on the newer door. Nothing hard, just time consuming.

meh, itd just be one more thing to add to the list of the interior, i just need doors so i can get the body ready for paint sometime soon. then the 454 and the five speed can go back in
