Dash Top Cover from Hawks...anyone have one?
It doesnt sound all that bad. I black plastic cover that fits flush over the dash with adhesive for 120$+shipping. Considering that the used dash pads on that site are 300, and battling for them on ebay is not only competitive, but ends up being just as expensive (not to mention that you still run the risk of cracking your new one). Anyone have one, installed one, or heard anything about it? If no one chimes in, Ill consider being the guinea pig on this one (I hate my dash)

I've seen them covered in textured vinyl that look great, and dashpads sell on this site for $75 or under all day long. I just sold mine (in great shape) for $25.

I went to the fabric store today to get vinyl for my dash pad. I think I can recover it fairly easy. For $8 in vinyl if it doesnt work it was no big deal. Hopefully it will look good though.

Im aware of the fact that you can cover a pad in fabric like vinyl, or shop for a good condition pad....but Im interested in this because it prevents a 'mint condition'/new pad from cracking, and I dont think it would look right with vinyl
