Need hood latch pic please!
My hood latch is suddenly not releasing. Can someone please take a pic of the backside of the latch mechanism under the hood and post it? (like you were sitting in place of the engine looking forward.)
I might have a broken spring but want a photo to compare to. The cable releases the latch, the but the hook part that holds the hood down does not release back out of the way. I can get it open by having someone pull the release and I pull up on the hood at the same time. Not ideal. It's lubed fine and moves back and forth freely when you push it but does not release on its own.
