RA1 Hood
I have seen many pics of third gen T/A's with the RA-1 hood (97-99 Ram-Air Hood). But so far I have not found any that actually work as a Ram Air. I like the look of the RA-1, but I want it to be a working hood. I can get the RA-2 with air box for a little more than a RA-1 without an air box. I guess my question is, is there anyone out there with a RA-1 hood that actually works as a Rain-Air? If so how did you get it to work?
I was thinking of buying the air box from RamAirhood.com and the RA-1 Hood from American Sports Car Design, and make it work. Does anyone think that will work before I waiste my money? or should I just keep it simple and get the RA-2 hood with working Airbox that are made to work togther? I mean I like both hoods, just like the RA-1 better cause it doesn't look as bulky towards the windshield.

Do a search. Someone just completed the same thing (ASCD RA1 & another airbox). Stay tuned, in about 2 months I'll have my solution...
