What's this piece called?
ok i'm wondering what this piece is called... its the little plastic strip that is on the bottom of the nose piece of the car.... mine is about 3 inches thick and i know they have some that are longer that look like they come on the later 3rd gens... i'd like to get a new piece but i don't know what its called... i noticed that it has little screws holding it all the way around and i want to get a thicker one becuase it makes the nose of the car look like it sits lower and mine is broken anyways.... anyone got any info that'll help?

You mean the front lower air deflector??
It direcs air flow from the road up into the radiator... not sure if this is what you mean.
Also I don't think it's as crucial on Z's but they are a must have for every Bird owner.

I think you're talking about the Ground FX (GFX), sometimes called the front skirt also. The 1991/1992 Camaros had more prominent GFX on the front and sides, with imitation air ducting on them.
