would this rear seat foam be the same as a 88 GTA notchback would have? its hard to tell which foam is different if any of them are at all? please give advice. all i need is the foam since i leaked tranny fluid all over the old one. i had the cover taken off and professionally cleaned but i need a new foam since the old foam will just be like a sponge filled with tranny fluid now.

i sincerly doubt that the rear bucket seats were ever different. the backs some times different from split to one-piece but i beleive all the bottom foam is the same.

All I know is that i just replaced my seat covers with hawks hampton vinyl for my 87 GTA and some how the order got mixed up and I was sent ones for a notchback. everything fit fine except the top part of the rear seat that would not fit. So yes it should work.

i'd have to agree with AaronIROCZ. Though i cannot provide a definite answer, i see no reason why it wouldn't work. The spare Notchback seats that i have, bottom cushion wise, look identical to that one, as well as the ones in my old '88 T/A. i don't see why they would be any different, outside of the top parts, of course.
