Getting close(r)

Getting really close on my car. Once everything was stripped down that damage wasn't really that bad. The dent on the rear quarter was the only big damage from the wreck that's not being replaced. The passenger door wound up having 1/8"-1/2" of old bondo all around and he's still got to rework it straight.

All the wavy panels I had before the wreck turned out to be a bad 5th or 6th paint job! It averaged 3 layers with some panels having 6! Previous owener had a car lot, so I imagine anytime his wife got a scratch he had a buddy respray it.

Hopefully I'll get it home for assymbly next week.

Looking good. Just think how much faster it'll be now with 5 less coats of paint weighing it down.

Does that mean yours will be slower now that it actually has paint?

Looking good shroom. Can't wait to see it. You're keeping the stock color, I hope?

Tree's...

Definitely keeping the stock jade green color. It's taken 4 months for him to get this far, so don't expect finished pics anytime soon..
