ramairhood.com 4th gen spoiler issues
Ok so here is the deal......I got a 4th gen rear spoiler 2 months ago from ramairhood.com, which all started my problem. The spoiler arrived but was missing all of the mounting bolts/hardware and the third brake light. 2 months and several phone calls later, I am still waiting on the missing parts. I have a bad feeling that these parts may never arrive.
I like the spoiler, and would like to keep it. I could find bolts to fit, but have been told that the spoiler is suppose to have rubber gaskets that goes under the spoiler "legs", has special bolt hooks for the front of the spoiler, and the third brake light is not like the factory 4th gen brake light. Hince my problem.
If any of you have pics of these items or info I could use, I would greatly appreciate it.

I bought my 4thgen spoiler from a classified ad on this board, but it came from Ramairhood.com originally. When I received mine, the 3rd brakelight was missing and the seller didn't answer emails so I ordered one direct from Ramairhood.com. I got it in a few days and I think it was about $15.00. Give em another try- I had good luck with them.
It's definitely not the same as a stock 4thgen brakelight. Those wrap over the top of the spoiler. The aftermarket ones are under the spoiler. My mounting hardware was also missing, but the spoiler is threaded for 1/4-20 screws/bolts. I'm using socket-head bolts because I didn't want to holesaw huge holes in the hatch for access to the normal bolt heads.
I don't have gaskets for the spoiler posts either (gotta love used parts). I'm just going to put a bead of silicone on the bottom of each post to keep water from coming in through the bolt holes.
The side brackets are just little metal tabs that wrap around the metal band around the hatch glass. That's something you can easily fabricate, but have Ramairhood send you a pair along with the 3rd brakelight.

Slice a bicycle innertube around its edge once with a razor, then you can lay it flat and use it for gasket material.

just get gasket material from a parts store. bicycle tires are thin and get brittle easily...or use simi-trucks inner tubes....like river tubes.
