Car: 1991 Pontiac Firebird
Engine: TBI 5.7L v8
Transmission: Modified T-5
4th Gen Wheels (Probably a repeat, but...)
Just picked me up some 4th gen wheels. Been looking through old threads to determine what kinda spacers I need to mount these on my 3rd gen.
My question: Do I need spacers, or do I need adapters??
Oh, and what thickness should they be??
Trying to find something on ebay so I don't have to pay a fortune.

DO NOT GET THOSE. And I'll tell you why. If you look at the picture, those spacers have no centering ring. So you, or the shop will have to center the wheel as best as they can by eye which is never good becuase at high speeds you will get a very bad vibration. Believe me, I know. I had similar spacers with no centering ring and highway driving was horrible at 75 and higher. Buy the ones from Hawks. They have the centering rings and are the proper thickness to correct the offset from the 4th gen rims.

Once I switched these, the difference was phenominal.
