PMD seats or adjustable headrest?
Over the weekend i picked up some black PMD seats for 30 bucks. My question is should i reupholster them or continue reuphostering the style i am right now with the adjustable headrest. I'm doing all the reupholstery myself at my house, so it's no big deal either way. This is sorta what they look like right now.
The only difference is the embroidered bird will no longer be red but gold. If i decide to go the PMD route, i'm still gonna go with the black and grey two tone look, but there will be no embroidery on the front seats, just in the back. My interior will be almost completely black except for a few things which will be grey. I will be using 95 trans am center console dyed black as well. Which do you think will look better the PMD or the adjustable headrest kind?

I think both would look good. I personally like the ajustable headrests, but I also like the PMDs design. If you're going to go the adjustable way, and want to get rid of the black PMDs, please let me know! But either way I think it'll look great.

I'd say PMD. Although the adjustable headrest seats look good when recovered, the PMD seats look totally different than anything else and you don't see them that often.

Thanks for your opinion. I was leaning towards PMD too. That's why i picked them up. Was just curious what others thought. How do you think the PMD's will look two toned with black/grey like the one i've already done with the adjustable headrest style.

Here are mine in 2 tone...
The rears...I went with the deluxe split rear folding seat instead of the PMD solid rear style! My car came stock with the split seat, so it was easier to run them anyways since all the hardwear was present!
One thing to note on the PMDs! I love them. They feel completely different though then the adjustable headrest seats. Bolt in one and have a seat. It will blow your mind! They are so cushy! It took some getting used to for me! They sit you higher as well. Watch your head clearance if you are tall. They are also quite the challenge to recover! Check this out...
