Making a hard top
hey guys, im going to the body shop down the street 2day and i was going to ask them if they would be able to make my car into a hard top and how much it would cost. Well my question for you guys is, have any of you done this before, go from a t-top to a hardtop, and my second question is, if u have how much did it cost? and third is did it come out good? thanks guys

Transmission: T5 untill it blows up from to much torque
Axle/Gears: Ford 9" /w auburn pro & 3.89's
Don't bother. It is not worth the money. You are better off buying a rolling thirgen (no motor) and transfering everything over.

If ur only doing it to stiffen the unibody, you could just get some subframe connectors, maybe a strut tower brace. I know that those two peices will be alot cheaper than cutting the roof off of a hard top and rewelding it to urs. this guys (http://www.markscustomkits.com/t-top-conversions.htm) charge 1500.00 bucks to go from a hard top to t-top, i'm guessing it'll be the same if you want to go from t-top to hard top.
