as far as I know, Firebirds and Camaros DO NOT share any console parts from any year. I know for a fact that the console glove box doors are different as are the shifter plates. They don't match up. '82-'84's are unique to those years. Unless you want to swap out the entire console get one specific to the year you are looking. I had a similar problem when I was trying to get a OD shiftplate for my '82 TA. I got it off of Ebay, but when I got it at home I found out it was from a Camaro. Not even close to the dimensions, and it's a completely different design, eventhough its from the same year. Luckly I sent it back and they gave me the correct one for my TA. Keep an eye out, people do sell them. Check out the classified on here and always check Ebay. I know it's hard to find '82 parts, since I am always looking also, but they do show up on Ebay alot. I'm still trying to find an '82 drivers side door sill. That design was ONLY available in '82! What other specifc parts are you looking for??

'82-84 Firebird interiors are specific. They where made to look like the cockpit of a LearJet. It dated itself rather quickly and was redesigned in 1985.

Although the Camaro may look simular its no where the same.
