4th gen seats?
Do the 4th gen seat tracks fit on a 3rd gen seat? If so, do they by any chance go back further than the 3rd gen seat tracks? If possible, I'd like a little more leg room

they do interchange.
farther back? mines 4th gen power. i had a 3rd gen power in the car. bout the same really.
the manual 4th gen track has more adjustment, but thats up and down with the tilt of the seat, not really the track sliding back farther.

A tip that I found while installing my 4th gen electric seats into my 3rd gen. You can make approx. 2inch spacer type deals whereby you make the seat go back further. Picture a two and a half inch piece of flat metal approx one and a half inches wide and about 1/8 inches thick. Drill a hole in the front of the metal so as the bolt on the front part of the floorboard will go into. Then a hole in the rear of the metal whereby you can run a bolt in the back of the hole. Now, you can bolt the front of the metal to the floor and the back of the metal to the seat track. Then you do the same to the rear of the seat tracks. You have to align them first before bolting them down. Makes my seats go back an extra two inches. I only did mine on the right hand side (your passenger side) because I am in Australia and we drive using right hand drive cars. Hope this terrible explanation helps.

Good. It helps me a lot because the right hand side has less room than the left.
Maybe someone could give me some help please. I am having a terrible time with my heater core. I cannot get the thing out because I cant get the front cover off. Dont forget that mine has been converted and the steering wheel is in the way also there is a lot of wires in the way. I really think that I need to pull off only the front part of the dash. Could anyone give me a hand with how to do that. I dont want the whole dash removed only the front cover. Is that possible? Please help. Thanks.
