Hello to everybody on this website this is my first post...i really like the idea of having the window buttons on the door panels, but i don't think there will really be any real good spot to put them. if you go route to making your own armrests it could work out well. now lately ive been tinkering ideas around in my head and with a custom armrest you could get it all to flow right. personally my idea is to swap in some c4 vette window controls and build custom armrests to house them. i like the vette controls better because they have more functions..ie auto driver&pass rolldown, mirror controls..etc.. i dont plan to do this for another few good months so i dont know how well the controls will hook up, but i will get to it eventually.

No I havent.. Ive seen some really neat switches in hot rods and stuff tho. Like a billet manual window crank modded to be the window switch just push it down window goes down...

will the 4thgen door pannels "attach" to our doors just as well as the stock black piece that runs across the top. i really don't want to use the top black piece as part of my door but i can't find any 4thgen door pannels at the local yards to test fit.
finding a way to mount the switches isn't much of a problem since i'm redoing the entire pannel, just curious if anyone had done it and how they went about wiring it.
i would like to know how i can attach the door pannels without using the top piece though and reinventing the wheel. that would look 100% cleaner and save alot of time if they work. if anyone can let me know if it attaches in a similar fashion that would be great.
