Help with putting a 4th console in my 3rd

Help with putting a 4th console in my 3rd

I want to get one for my but exactly how hard is it to put in?

I have an auto 84 camaro. Is there a certain year of 4th that I need or what.

And what all do u have to do to make it work. I read the thing on which parts from 4th will fit but I need more info so I will know If i will be able to do it myself of not before i buy one.

is a junkyard the cheapest place to Get one?

Please help with as much detail s on the easiest way of do this.

or if there is a thread that tell all of this please post link for me because i search and couldn't find what i'm looking for.

I did a search like 4th gen console and stuff and can't find nothing. Can u help me?

P.S. I'm not doing my car in green and puple with grim reaper no more saving grim for another project i'm going to do after the camaro. A el camino hearse. I'm going to do the camaro Green with stripes Not sure what color stripes but will be but pin striped in black. and interor green and black.

But right now I have interior work to do on my camaro. And looking for different thinks to change about it. like console, gages, ect.

That is what i was takng about i read but i need more help. i have never really done much interior work that why i wanted to know excatly how hard and steps of excatly what all i will have to do. so can u help me out? u think i could do it myself? sorry to need so much help but i want to leard how to do all different kind of stuf to my car by myself. so i can say i did it myself and look how good it looks. u know what i'm saying?

How would we know if you are able to do it? It's not hard as you can see from the posts on it, it just takes some patience to get it to line up nicely. Search again, there is plenty of info available. Basically it goes: remove old console, install new console, trim to fit smoothly. Not to be a smartass but its rather basic and a bolt up from what I hear.

so thats all just a little trimming? but i asked do u think i could do it saying like someone that have never really done much with interor could do it or not. if its really hard then the asnwer would have been no but since its just trimming then the answer would be yes. but it's sounds easy. what u said is all someone has to say. "it bolt right on just need to be trim a bit" so thanks for helping.

4th gen consoles in a camaro imo dont look that nice unless you swap out the dash also. they do look 100% better in birds.
