Alternatiove to Mounting 5th point on harnesses!!
these guys sell 5th harness point mounting brackets that would be awesome. they fit between the two front seat mount studs and the 5th harness piece slips around them but they are only listed for fourth gens. heres a link does anyone know or can speculate if they would fit thirdgens???

most seat brackets are 82-02 even though many don't test fit them on 82-92 f-bodies. good example is how a 4thgen seat bolts into a thirdgen car with no issues.
considering that most things aftermarket require some slight work to fit i would think they should fit or require little if any modifications.
for $35 i'm sure you could get a fabrication shop in your area to make it and have your car on site for the fitment... i'd go that route personally.

well thinking about it they should fit since the only things that need to line up are the two bolt holes and they are the same.
the piece isnt too difficult and i could fab it up myself but ive got so much else going on i need to "make" (rear seat delete's, subwoofer box, gotta get that radiator in somehow, etc etc) id rather just have it ordered and this would be painted black already too.
im only worried about it being too tall because i do have aftermarket seats and because of that i think ill call around and try to see who can fab around here

i have a set in my car. very nice piece. you CAN make them for cheaper, im just lazy. the stock seat track covers still fit over them too, so they are almost completely hidden.
works with my power seat too.

this is probably a stupid question, but are those for the factory 4th gen seats, or just aftermarket. I would like to get a harness to fit the factory seats, because i dont like aftermarket.

the wolfe brackets will fit the factory floor studs in ALL 82-02 f body.
they will fit aftermarket seats as long as you are using the factory floor studs.

tube measures 7/8" O.D.
it sets about 1" off the floor.
the bracket is set under the seatbracket, but the angles that mount the tube+ the thickness of the compressed carpet jack the height up a bit.
good luck.
mine are very tight to the floor, and concealed nice.
most people never know they are there.
