floor pans?
im looking at another camaro right now, an 85 z-28. the body is in great condition, but i guess the t-tops on leaked alot? the floor pan has a small hole in it. before i buy it, i was wondering if anyone has replaced a floor pan in these cars, or is it not worth it?
if it has been done, is it hard?

well a small hole shouldnt need replacing, you could patch it, but..... if you have a small hole, you may have a lot more you dont see, did you take the whole carpet out and look? i betcha it's all rotted out in the front corners.

simple sheet metal is sufficent to patch the hole? its only one hole, with a good amount of surface rust around it. great idea to pull the carpet up. if all i need is simple sheetmetal and some time to fix it, then now i have 2 third gens!

Sheet metal works awesome. That's how my floor was patched, but also look up in the front where the pedals are on both sides, camaros and birds rust out there real fast and real bad.
