anyone redo those thing that cover the rear speakers?
sry i dont know the name of them otherwise i would have searched cuz im sure this came up before. anywaythey are in the back and cover the back seat speaker area. im changeing my interior so i either buy black ones or do some custom work to the ones i have now and save some money.
i have acouple ideas on how to do this.
1. i find the best die for the job and just die them black
(but will it last, what die do i use, would it look good??)
2. i get some black or a leather looking material and just glue it over
(what glue do i use and will it hold?)
3. leave them off and find a way to make the speakers showing look good
(fill those holes and get a set of nice speaker covers)
anyway has anyone done this? any pics? what way should i do this??
thanks in advance

Pretty easy to get new cloth and cover them up.

If they've got the plastic backing covered in fabric, it'll take about $2 and ten minutes to recover them and have them turn out good. If you have the cardboard kind, look for the plastic kind at a salvage yard.

There should still be a tech article about them. If not, I have made my own little blurb on them here.
