have a quick question on new paint jobs

what does it mean when u can see really really small hair line cracks on the bumpers right after a paint job? was it painted bad? or does it need a buff or something?

after a car has been painted should it be buffed?or waxed? if so how long?

thanks in advance

it could be that the old paint had spider cracks and was not sanded out (macco) or they did not put down a sealer and the new paint is lifting .. pics would help

Transmission: 700R4, for now....
Most likely there were old spider web cracks in the paint and it wasn't stripped to the plastic before they painted it. A new paint job only needs a buff if you're wetsanding out imperfections, and, I'd give it at least two months before you wax it
