Sure that can be fixed, but it would definatly be cheaper to find another used one.

You could pick up a new wheel for cheap. Lot less hassle than trying to repair whatcha got there!

I agree with those guys, you would be better off finding one more rim and do away with that one because you could do it cheaper and easier that way.

Well its just a daily driver car so for now its fine, until I can find another one. Are they easy to come by? What do you think of 120 for them? They come with tires on them that will last me threw the summer.

Price seems right.. I just had a couple TIGed up, about 7" on each rim, they were curbed like yours, then they have to go back in a turning center to machine the excess off, about three hours shop time - too much- $$ look for nicer ones cheaper.

If you have a mig, or know someone with a mig, grab a small spool of aluminum wire and fill in the chips.. Then grind down and polish.. Good as new..

You can get away without using straight argon, but your welds will be messy.. It doesn't really matter since you'll grind them anyhow..

Good luck!

if you have a set of 16inch rims there i would say repair them. beleave it or not they are getting harder to come by. just saw a set go for $300.00 on e bay. if they're the 15 inch ones you can get them at most junk yards for about $25.00 with the tire. and who knows you might get lucky like i did and find a complete set there. remember the 16's are marked for the front and rear on the inside of the rim because of the shims built into the factory cast.
