Nose/Grille Mod MSChop

Hello, I was playing around with MS paint and came up with this. It looks kinda weird... but i kinda like it.... i'm undecided....

Any idea on what I woud use to make the horizontal bars???

The top girlle... the grille will be 90 degrees verticle..... not slanted....

Feel free to photochop my car.........I think it needs something.. just dont know what...

BTW.... It's got a built 350 in it..

Rob....

I think your rims are alright but look into getting some different center caps on them, I think you can get some better looking ones or get new rims altogather but theres not that bad. I like the paint actually and you probably dont want to spend 2 grand on that, the paint is very plain but I actually like it for some reason. If you want you could probably stick the other style iroc grill on there and figure out how to put some foglights in there or maybe a trenz stainless steel grill but I dont like those to much I dont think.

It looks good and it was me I would probably spend my money on your interior, I mean for the price of a decent paintjob you could get nice (leather) seats and a good stereo worked out.

P.S: The I went back and looked at it and the first things I notice are the front license plater brack, the black plastic center caps, the hood rivets or whatever they are but they may not look that bad actually, and also your paint looks like a matte finish out of a spray can.

Mustang stole the idea from me!:P

But it also looks like the Monte Carlo SS, and not to mention the Dodge Charger/Daytonas of the 80's.

I could try doing it red, if you got an idea of the red let me know i can try and match it.

Yeah.. I like the mustang look......and the monte carlo.. i've studied the monte carlo and was trying to replicate it.... but I'm severely limited by what can be done....... I'm not too sure how fiberglass on plastic will work........

I'm thinking of a like coca-cola.. or stock bright red... but actually.. anything would be better than what I have..

and I also think that the grille area should be the MAIN ATTRACTION....................

Rob...

Man its funny... you draw it up... then go take a look at the car... its like... oh....... thats gonna be hard ....

rOB..

hERE'S something I thought of .... .....

It will not work. Fiberglass is ridge and the bumpers on are cars flex alot.. Olny way u could but it.Is make a clay mold, to the shape u want than make the hole bumper out of glass.

i think just putting them bars on the stock bumper(cut out the middle piece) would look good

There is a quote I like to use sometimes that may help.

"Simplify, Man..."

The simpilest little mod can add a lot off appeal to a car. The idea I photochoped is just a little idea I have always had if i was to place a grill there.

I try and find a good red for this, but I kind of like black primer.

Yeah I like simple too.. as you can see... I just like the look of the old 50 mercs and stuff... My buddy has a black primed 57 chevy... I love the contrast between chrome .... and flat black.. I just can't find anything chrome to put on it......

like chrome hoodpins or something......

Actually a chrome fuel pressure guage might do the trick mounted on the hood....
