pro 5.0 problems
I just installed a pro 5.0 along with a 97+ center console and I'm having space issues. First off is the shifter supposed to be angled so far forward? Theres only one way to bolt the handle on so I don't think I'm screwing that up, the base has writing on it and I put that at the bottom so its read-able so I'm sure thats right. This slant is causing my shifter to hit the front of my console and my radio pod, which doesn't not make me very happy. Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions are welcomed as I really want my interior back together.

I did, but it's not the shifter...it's how far back your console is. That or move your front stop bolt back more......I just had to keep toying with it. I knew my 5.0 was in the right spot because I had it in before I did the console, but after tweaking different things I have it bolted down and it works. It helps if you have the console bolted down from the inside of the 'glove compartment', as it helps set the console in the spot where it should be....do that and go from there
