How do you take off the lense part...i can take out my tail light but i think some dirt is trapped behind the lense itself so when examining them i saw a little part that looked like the tail light lense snapped on to but im not sure and i dont want to break anything...please respond quick i want to polish the lenses today!! thx

I came across this in a post on the Detailing and Apperance section in the "how do you paint your tailights" thread. I think that there was some other info in that thread. If this doesnt help then just check out the thread.
its pretty easy just take you time so you dont crack them. Its real easy to break a piece I just used a small flathead screwdriver and slowly pryed the lights apart. They are held together by some kind of adhesive so heating them up a little should help loosen up the adhesive.

Yeah, there should be 2 plastic looking 'rivets' on the top of each tail light. I did my best to not break them..but they ended up breaking. I think they're mostyle to align the 'bubbles'. Just pry the 'bubbles up over the 2 rivets (if you break them, if you get them out without breaking even better). The bubbles are just held on with adhesive. Just pry a little bit all the way around and they should come right off.

Having virtually destroyed a pair, i'd tell you that its not as easy as it looks. Definitely employ a heat gun, and pick up some dentist tools (scraping tools). If you are fortunate, yours will come up with relative ease. Just be careful. Unfortunately, I was not able to find any adhesive eaters that would take care of the Job. If you do, please post em. I am confident that this will not be the last time I take my tail lights apart.
