what do you mean you "made" new guages? do you mean you printed out overlays- if you made overlays and you didnt unplug your cluster- the needles are problably hitting the paper- and flatten it out- if its not that- you have a bad electrical connection to the cluster, if its an electronic cluster.

yes they were white overlays and they stayed pretty flat, where do I unplug the gauge cluster? is it screwed up if I didnt, will it reset if I unplug it and plug it back in? I checked theyre not hitting the paper.

well if you have an electronic cluster- when you pull the cluster out it disconnects, are they moving at all- when i put my overlays in my water temp wasnt working right- so i pulled the needle off and pushed it back on half way and it worked great. are you getting any movement at all?

yeah it sounds like your needles are hitting the paper- pull the needles out- make sure the pin that the needle attatches to isnt hitting paper- then put them all on lightly- if thats not it- then your needles are out of place maybe- i had to redo my tach- it said 0 untill i hit like 3500 rpm somtimes when putting the needles back on your turn it by accident
