Broken horn on 91-92 style steering wheel.

Im sure this is a problem that many have had but i tried searching but nothing.

My horn has not been working for a while because i have the 91 - 92 style steering wheel. I think the contacts are broken but im not sure how to take off the airbag piece.

Also, if I buy a 4th gen Camaro steering wheel , would I be able to replace everything.

Did you check to see if your getting power at the horns? Before tearing into the airbag. Maybe even a fuse?

Sounds like the problem I had. There are four torx head screws set deep into holes on the back side of the wheel that hold the air bag on. When the airbag is loose you can clearly see the horn switches. You will also see why they break, because they are very cheep looking thin plastic. Very easy to replace though. Just pull them out and put new ones back in.
