Hey i took off my stock 3 piece 88 iroc spoiler, and now as i look at the bottem of my hatch i can see that the hatch doesnt aline exactly with the sides of the car. It seems to stick out further about 1/2 inch to an inch. Any ideas?

 

i have the same problem with my 88 bird. i haven't got around to tweaking with it yet, but if i find out, i'll let ya know.

 

There's a tech article in the Tech section which shows exactly how to align the hatch. Its pretty easy, and well worth the time.

do yall know how much of a gap there should be at the top of the hatch where it meets the roof?

 

no i dont know. my problem is that its not coming all together right at the bottem next to the 3 piece spoiler

 

yeah, that's my problem too. i was just wondering about the top as well, because i have a massive gap at the top too.
