Please Help! Can't find 4th gen console shifter boot!!!!

I got a man. 4th gen console 4 free, but it is missing the shifter boot and ring. Where can I find these??? I can't find em on ebay, ls1tech.com, here, or at a good price from an after market company. If you guys know where I can find one or what ebay search words would work, I'd be one happy 3rd gen owner!!!

Free, can't beat that price. Had a similiar issue when I got my 4th gen manual console, I had a boot but was missing the ring that holds it in. Ended up having to purchase it from a dealer, it includes the boot and ring together, you can't get them separate. Pricey though.

Another option would be to find one in a junkyard where they would let you only get the boot. You might also try ebay. Sometimes you will find just the upper assy.

What about just a universal boot? I'm sure you could find a way to mount it in there pretty easily.

Could you provide part numbers? I went to 2 different dealers and neither was able to order the 2 parts separately. Too late to help me, but may help others. As I recall, price seems about the same as what I paid for both parts together though.

Does anyone have the part number for the 4thgen cig lighter pigtail? Mine came without that, as well as without the boot/retainer ring. I'd like to order the two together...

im not sure if it makes a difference on the connector, but the 98-99 and 00-02 lighters are different. one has a metal ring and the other has a metal ring, with a large plastic ring around it.
the connector should be the same, but ya never know.

ive never seen the factory wiring for a 4th gen, but im sure the 3rd prong looops power to the accessory port on the passenger side of the console.
3rd gen factory wiring for the cig lighter is
ORG power
BLK ground
good luck with it.

The acc. port on the lower section of the console gets it's own three prong connector. I got one at a junkyard today. As well as some body colored smoothed 4thgen door handles.

Try www.afterthoughtsauto.com/shiftboots.html It's just for the boot, not the ring too.
