Carpet getting wet

Carpet getting wet

it's been raining for the last couple days and i've just notice that the carpet behind the driver seat is wet and so is the spot where the rear seat was. my car's a hardtop so i have no clue where it could be coming from. anybody know how i can fix this?

Check the rear glass, make sure it is sealing, ie the weather stripping should still be "spongy" If it is getting on the spot where the rear seats used to be that is the only place it could come from. I had water on the floor boards of mine behind the drivers seat, but I have t-tops and I know it is coming from there.

Unfortuneatly, there's another option/potential source of the wet floor boards. Get under your car and check the floor pan. You could have a rusted through spot in the floor boards and the water is spashing up from the road and soaking into the carpet thru the pad....
