Christmas in January
I've been going to a local pick-n-pull that has about 8 third gens sitting around. They've been picked apart pretty well. I've been over them myself a zillion times. I always find myself drawn to them even if I don't need anything, which is usually never cause I always need something. But anyway, I looked in one today and found a Camaro three spoke steering wheel on the floorboard in good condition!!! No horn button. Like I said, I've been in this car a zillion times, but there it was. How it got there I have no idea...I think I even pulled the steering column out of it once. Then, I look in another Camaro scrouging around and found a horn button under the rear floor matt!!!! The contact plate is broke off, but what the hell? I immediately left and bought a lottery ticket

Drop down to San Diego for a weekend of hunting. Loads of Camaro's and Firebirds on a weekly basis. I scored loads of stuff when I was stationed in San Diego. Especially the impounded ones from the Border Patrol inspection stations at San Diego and Oceanside
Like a 3.70 posi rear end for $60.00 on a half-price weekend sale. I dropped it earlier in the week and hid it under a dodge pickup. I was the first guy in line the next Saturday.
Found a dual snorkel air breather assembly, and brand new looking factory seats for $60.00. New carpet from a Camaro with only 25K on it for $8.00 and found a gold necklace under the carpet when we pulled it up to boot.
Got the GTA wing for the T/A here in Texas though.
Good hunting.
Jim.
