87 camaro console assembly in 82 firebird
87 camaro auto trans console entire assembly wouldnt work in 82 firebird automatic right ?
or could it ?
any minor mods to make it work ? or cant at all ?

The console should bolt in palce of your F.B. console.It probably wont mesh well with the dash though.Since the F.B. is a 2 piece console(radio)Your a/c heater control head will also require a little finess to work on the camaro console.Trimming is probably in order.Camaro consoles are wider too.

thats all i want for the 82 is correct fit factory stuff, for interior and body
i should have assumed that the dash by radio and hvac controls differed since everythnig else inside seems to from maro to FB
well at least the maro seats will work in my t/a
so thats cool i guess, didnt totally lose out i guess,.

the maro one differs too much to use in FB apparently, to scrap it goes, im not wasting time removing it
the maro si out herem, runs drives great its a fast damn car for a 2.8 i tell ya, trhat 3.42 helps it alot
the car is pretty its sad to cut it up but oh well,
hopefully i can get started on it in a couple hours after i get back from springfield

hehe yeah it seems 82 84 everything looks better
wheel, dash, console, everything
its all perfect imho
the later stuff started going down hill and all plsuhy rounded crap and etc,

jut too bad is hard to find the earlier stuff,
