Besy way to route wire to under the car..

Ok, I did a bunch of searches, but none quite answered all of my questions. I have it all figured out, except for one thing:

I bought an electric exhaust cutout, and have been preparing to install it. I have the switch mounted and all that, but my problem is that I cannot seem to find a good/easy place to route the wire from the centre console down to the cutout where the cat used to be.

It's an automatic, so I was expecting to see a rubber boot directly below the shifter where the cables go through, but this is not the case. So what's the next best place?

The goal is to not have to take a lot of stuff apart to do this.

Thanks.

Why not just drill a small hole, put in a grommet, and run the wire thru it under the console? On the passenger's side would probably work best to access once under the car....

Well that'll be the worst case scenario. I would just really rather not have to drill a hole.

This pic will give you an idea where my cut out is...I had a Qtp electronic valve on it till it died.

What I did was face the cut out valve solenoid so that the wire was going out towards my gfx...I then fished the wire into the gfx and zip tied in place. Then it was run thru the gfx up to the frt fender area behind the tire. I fished from the gfx thru a hole in the fender up behind the fender. Then I found the hole where the antenna wire used (shaved now) to run thru into the car. I fished it thru that hole into the car and behind the kick panel and up into the underside of the dash, the panel above your feet. Then I ran it over to the radio pod. Tucked it back behind it and under the edge. Then keep tucking it as I went to the center console and under its edge. Then I ran it along the center console. I pulled up the center console shifter plate and pulled the wire and slipped it bw the center console shifter plate & the and console glove box.

Hope that helps!

Hey thnkns for the help. I can visualize all of it save for how it goes from the gfx into the fender, and how I might be able to get that wire to go from the radio pod to the console with that huge clip on it, bit I'm sure I'll figure it out.

..iIf not, then in a week or so you will all be hearing from me again lol.

I'm just tucking it up under the edge of the console and pod where it meets the carpet. Nothing fancy. Where I ran it under the shifter panel into the console, there is a slight recess there. Its where the console is cut out for the factory console light's wiring to go. That part does not sit that tight dwon and the cord is so shielded it will be fine!
