Wiper Removal ???? Help...

Wiper Removal ???? Help...

i did a search but couldn't find anything on how to remove my windshield wipers..... i got the motor removed from the firewall but cant seem to get the blades off..... also, cant get the actual peices that connect them to somewhere under that mesh gate that runs along the bottom of window... thanks..... :hail:

Hey Will, long time, no see.
The arms can be removed easily (just did it the other day). There is a small (almost miniature) tab sticking out from underneath the wiper base where it's attached to the shafts. Pull this tab out (in direction perpendicular to the shaft) and then pull the arm off the shaft. No biggie once you know how to do it.

the tab will only open when the wiper is pulled away from the windshield.Like when you lift the wiper arm to clean your window
