Iroc Purchase
I have no clue where this post should be but I feel it would get most answered here.
I am about to ditch my RS for this sweet IROC down the street. Now I havent checked it out yet but they told me they will sell it for a grand, because they want to get rid of it. It is a beuty but they are not the type of people to drive it so its just sitting in there driveway.
Im in class right now and this is some info that I want to know this before i go check it out.
Should I expect a 350 TPI? (would be sweet)
What other cool things should I expect.
I also noticed the brake light on the hatch is on the outside. I thought there might have been some significance to the year
Looks like this is a question for Camarosource. haha

Well if it has the outside brakelight then it is an 86 unless the owner swapped it in. Its probably not a 350 tpi because the tech data on the homepage says only 50 1986 Iroc's were produced but some say non were, so I highly doubt it has a 350. It more than likely has the 5.0 tpi but it could also have an lg4 or l69.

The tpi engine would be the engine you want, more power But if it had the l69, that would still be an improvement over your 305 tbi and be good if you liked carb'd setups.

Yeah its a 305 H.O. some improvements over the lg4 would be alluminum intake, bigger exhaust, bigger cam, dual snorkerl air cleaner, and better gears I think.
