The better the outside the worse the inside

Time for interior, i have tons of money into the paint and body making it show quality, was planning on more motor work but its changed now. I have some big shows this year i'm attending including the big denver rod and custom show in november and my seats a garbage, wanted 4th gen seats but then said everyone does those, i wanna be different so i'm having the seats "rebuilt" and reupholstered in black with a grey "patch" in the center like

http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...87_28_full.jpg

on usa-1's hawks covers but on my thirdgen seats. Carpet is also getting changed to black, and the grey carpet on my doors i am going to swap to black, trying to give it some two tone but keep it stock appearing

I want to have teh RS liek the style on our emblems stiched inside a bowtie on the top of the grey in teal thread too.

So heres what is soon to be changed

I figure i'd have the plastic piping border deal done in grey to contrast the black

What color for the headrests though black or grey, think i'll go to the photoshop board next

What people see when they look inside

your plans sound great- when i threw carpet and seats in my car it made a world of difference- then i had to paint it because the outside looked like crap.

Atleast you have an interior

My interior is a driver and passenger seat. Thats it.

Should look great once you have the seats and carpet redone

Or have some recovered, thats what i'm doing, i wanted 4th gen seats but after 5 years of finding none in good shape for a good price, i gave up and realized too many people are doing 4th gen seats nowadays, in all cars not just 3rd gens and i want to sway away from the usual

Funny lil story though, my buddy comes back from college for break and is bugging me to go to the junkyard with him, i was busy with work and when i wasnt workign i was with my girlfriend so we never went, one of the guys from coloradof-body.com went to the one he wanted to go to last week...when my buddy wanted to go and found a set of leather 4th gen seats and console all in perfect shape with like 40k miles for 60 bucks.....I'm not to happy right now

I was just over on the photoshop board looking at what kind awork they have gotten done for my virtual color change, no offence to the guys who have messed with the colors but the black and grey is kinda looking a little hoaky to me. I'll wait and see what tehy all look like when they finish em but i'm kind athinking fo going back on the hunt for 4th gen seats i dunno, i think i'm gonna buy a laptop computer first i have plenty of time before show season starts to get em done and i can come up with 1000 bucks in about a week and a half

Black carpet, black leathers seats, 4th gen belts, and a 4th gen console would be a day project if everything was there and look phenomenal.
