electric sun roof on my 91 rs

electric sun roof on my 91 rs
this had to be factory,no? its not in chiltons and it seems to be in need of some repair, did this come optional with the 91 rs?

nope no camaros came with a factory sunroof. prolly an aftermarket thing.

The way to tell if the roof was indeed "Factory Installed" was to look at the edge when you open the roof.
A factory "Moon Roof" the sheet metal will fold over the edge, and create the channels and such where the drains are...
The Aftermarket ones are usually slightly smaller, and they have a black gasket edge that attaches to the body. It looks kind of like a typical aftermarket sunroof, BUT its power.
