Just an idea...who would be up to the chalenge of putting some of these Corvette gauge faces in their Camaro and making them work, just imagine how much cooler that 200 mph speedo would make your interior look!!

Hard to say by just seeing the overlays, but I'm guessing it would require alot of work.

Yeah with the shape of the Rpm and Mph you would have to fab something up for that space because it isn't a complete circle like the Camaros'. Plus the fact that the temp and battery etc is turned upright rather than to the side...but hey, these challenges are what this site and this hobby are for right??

thought about it a couple years ago
haven't done it, can't find a good corvette donor right now. But, who wants guages, buddy, if we're gonna get guages, we're gonna get a dash, then we're gonna get a console, then i'd be thinkin of door panels, and front seats w/ a set of red/black ebony rear leathers, and the fronts would have to be black/red corvette ebony. hmmmmmmm, i could go on, anyone wanting more ideas give me a shout out
might just have to have my shop build one for giggles, and sell it for half what we put in.
ooooh, hello Independent rear suspension.

Indapendent rear suspension, I always thought IRS on a 3rd-gen would make one badass auto-x car....

Here is the thirdgen with C4 IRS: http://www.quarter-mile.net/images/I...IRS_index.html
It's the only one I know of that has it.

I've seen the c4 IRS used on a '67 camaro...seems like that axel would be the one to use...what other IRS axel's are out there?

early model C4's are the ones to use, they don't have the extra computer controlled componets of the rear axles that you find on the later model versions and C5 suspensions. HOtRod did a 32 coupe running a c4 IRS for a budget project, turned like it was on rails apparently.
