if they're on ebay, a good set will run 150-300 bux...leather on ebay will be in the 400-600 range, some people want 900 bux for leather, but never get it, cause it really isn't worth that much to other people, just to company's like hawks.

I picked up my cloth 4th gens from a 97 bird for 30 bux, but that also included the rest of the interior, door panels, center console, dash, and seats.

I got my 4th gen cloth seats from a 93 Firebird Front and Back for $48 at a junkyard around me. I had to clean them up a little bit but they were well worth it!!

Yeah go to junkyards ebay is a freaking rip off
Well I dont know about you but for me 800 bucks is a bit much to just toss around

I checked on some at a local salvage yard
One had the the 2 tone camaro cloth seats with a small rip on the drivers side for 100 bucks for the set

And a guy had some tan firebird seats mint condition for 200$
I would have bought them but you know tan dont go with anything but tan

And that same guy had sold a set of leathers for 400$ a week earlier

actually, tan goes w/ a lot of colors. Specifically, Dark colors, dark blues, blacks, and greens.

When i was at the yards a while back (same yard i got my interior from) the guy had quoted me 125 bux for a set of the red/black 4th gen maro seats, along w/ the door panels. I didn't buy them, and he didn't sell them, they ended up in the regular part of the yard and they were destroyed, by people removing the t-tops on the car, and making sure they were covered in a ton of mud, horrible waste. I coulda definately turned a profit on that set on ebay, especially w/ the door panels matching, wish i had had 125 bux that day and it woulda been done.

The only reason i got my complete interior for 30 bux was we started getting in good w/ the guy at the yard, brinign him return business, buying several transmissions off him, and always having him keep an eye out for 4th gens, and suddenly, he loves us. Lol, no more paying to get in, get to go in the back where they keep the running vehicles, take picks before others get a chance at them, definately an awesome way to get.

Yard prices i'd expect 100 bux, sometimes less, probably not more unless theyard is trying rip ya off.

Are the fourth gen seats a direct bolt-in replacement or are there compatibility issues?

There is one seller that sells misc buckets (some of the seats have info) and he sells em for $35 a pair.. i've seen 4th gen seats in that mix....

yeah i'm definatly gonna go have to check that place out....my only concern is that they probably know what the stuff is worth to enthusiasts like us, where as "Joes Junkyard" probably thinks 4th gen seats are just as valuable/important as seats from an 89 Escort.....ya know?
I'll give them a call though...

Get leather, its awesome. I got a set of leathers from a 02 TA on ebay for about $650 shipped. They are so comfortable you just want to fall asleep.
its like a full body orgasm every time you sit down

4th gen leather seats+new door panels+new headliner= 1 damn fine interior

too bad my car is still slow as *****...

Two reasons i dont want leather...
a) price
b) IMO cloth is more comfortable in the extreme cold AND extreme heat....both of which occurr in MA (okay....not THAT extreme...but 90* in the summer isnt fun with leather, and hopping into leather seats that have been sitting outside after a snow storm aint fun either....)

Damn.... Tell that guy if he wants to ship them to CA, I'll give 200 + (reasonable) shipping).

Long shot, I know.

I dunno... a tan interior looks great in a red car... I don't see why tan seats in a red interior would look that bad.
