Finally new Weatherstripping!! need help tho

ebay has some door weatherstripping for thirdgens for like $65 a pair. thats a good deal since its normally like 150 maybe....anyway everyone knows the door stripping dryrots like crazy and i want to get this new stuff in but i dont know how to remove the black plastic trim on top of the door. and i defenitly dont want to break anything....any ideas how that comes off?

Axle/Gears: Limited Slip 3.23's
Remove everything from the door panel, pop the fasteners holding the panel to the frame, roll down the window. Start at the rear of the black plastic by pushing in and pulling up at the same time. Once you get the first (of four, I believe) removed, you'll see how things work.

ok so you roll down the window and the from the outside of the car push towards the inside and pull up as well? doesnt sound too tough

With the door open and you between the door and car, push in and pull up.

well i got the drivers off. i see how it is now but as far as it attaching to the cardboard of the door panel i dont see how it can comeoff without it ripping the cardboard (like i did lol) :lala:

Yes that is very tricky I used a needle nose pliers to scew them off. You have to be very careful or the plastic breaks.
