Rubbing Alchohol discolors plastic

While re-installed an emblem I popped off on the dash of the interior. I used Rubbing Alcohol (as instructed by body shop, and online) to clean the surface. I then put the cotton ***** that I soaked with rubbing alcohol on the center console Plastic center where under the "Left Window, Rear Hatch, Right Window" automatic buttons are.

Turns out a couple drops of the rubbing alcohol that touched this center console plastic area discolored it to a light black. So now there is 2 little drops of light black (light grey more like it) circles..

Is there any way to return the black color of the black plastic center or would I just need to buy a new upper center console which sells for around $89us?

just remove the piece and respray it with a light coat of interior black paint, allow it to air dry, re-install it and you'll never know anything ever happened to it...no need to spend 90+ dollars to replace a plastic piece that merely faded....
