Buy the other two stages too (Marine Clean and Zinc Wash). Also, apply the final POR-15 stage with a regular brush. Like Kretos said, it spreads thin- and the brush allows you to really get into any corners/cracks/crevices. I don't think it's possible to hit those kinds of spots if you used a spray gun. Be prepared to throw that brush away though when you're done with it!
Oh and don't do like me... I just put on gloves and safety glasses. I should've also put on a t-shirt, and that shirt should've had long sleeves. When I was done with my axle, I had little black specs all over me.
If you get any on concrete, if you quickly spritz the spilled por-15 with a spray brake cleaner and a rag, it'll come up. Don't let it dry on the concrete or it's there for life!

when you apply it make sure to do it outside, this stuff reaks. but it will go really far make sure you take out a bit at a time and seal up the main container first. don't want it drying out

not too terribly long, just got down using it on some parts for my beater car (Its not a third gen) My Dad has used it all over his 76, just make sure you don't get it on you, it doesnt come off easily I scrubbed my arms raw and it still barely came off. Oh and dont put it in plastic cups it will eat the plastic.
Dont buy too much cuz it will dry up eventually no matter how well you seal it.

Alright guys, I'm about to order a quart each of Marine Clean, Metal-Ready (Zinc Wash), and Por-15.
There's a note for the por-15 though. This is what it says:
POR-15® is sensitive to UV light (sun) and must be topcoated for prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Topcoating is not required for areas not exposed to sunlight.
What is topcoating?

Topcoating is when you spray another paint over the por-15. But you don't need to worry for floor panels. Supposedly por-15 eventually turns "crap-brown" when exposed to direct sun for a long period of time.
