Car: '82 trans am (w/ t-top)
Engine: 5.0L 305 H
Transmission: automatic
Stuck Seats
I bought my '82 Trans Am from a professional racer back around graduation. She sat for two years being ignored. My dad and I are restoring her. The front seats won't move back or forth on their tracks.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Car: 87 Formula/ 00 Xtreme
Engine: TPI 305/ v6
Transmission: struggling t-5/ 4l60E
Axle/Gears: 3.08/ 3.23
WD40 or other lube can be your friend.
Take the seat out (4 - 13mm nuts) and inspect the tracks for rust/deformation. They aren't complex devices.
Worse comes to worse, unbolt some tracks from a j/y car fbody seat. Bring home (& lube maybe), remove old, replace old with the j/y tracks. Good to go.
My old 84 didn't work because aparently a 500lb gorilla owned the car prior to me (the seatback had the permanent pimp-recline position too).
