plastic headliner question
i am looking for an all plastic headliner...ive heard and read abs sells a plastic backing but not the whole thing as plastic....im planning on bondoing it sanding it down smooth and painting it a gloss black instead of the fabric.
already have peel and seal front 2 back top 2 bottom so i don't think sound of rain or wind will be 2 much of an issue on the roof....any other suggestions would be appreciated
thanks for your help

I wouldn't use bondo to repair the headliner.
Here is a link to replace headliner in our cars, so you have reference for how & what to remove. The 2nd link is to a site with step-by-step details on repairing.

I've never seen an uncovered ABS headliner but you could consider trying to take your regular headliner board, strip off the cloth and foam backing then cover it using fiberglass cloth. This should make it sturdy then you could apply your bondo to that.
