Blue on Blue 1983 Trans Am. Runs perfectly. Had been sitting since 2000 untill I bought it yesterday. Started it up today and ran great. Has 93,000 original miles on it. This car is fullly loaded with options.

Those wheels are original and somewhat "rare", right? Either way, nice find!

Do I see a the hood scoop? Crossfire 305? Paint looks odd, door and fender repainted? Car has potential for sure, and for the price you can put some money in it and still have a nice car for little money.

It is a CFI. I am one of the few that love it! The car has no signs of being repainted, I did notice what you mean on the door and fender. Possibly those got resprayed? I'll have to look at it more closely. Too bad the car sat in the sun the last four years because the paint on the top burned off . This car has lots of potential. I just have to finish my other '83 first.

That it is. When I'd take my '82 to car cruises/meets people would easily fly down the freeway at 85 - 90 while my car was a 4000 rpms at 80. This car should do way better.

Interior is actually great. Two tears in the drivers seat as expected. Rest of it looks good, just needs cleaning. The lettering on the buttons and switches look brand new.

Today I filled it with coolant and ATF. Let it idle for 40 minutes. Idles great. Shifted into reverse and drive and it did it smoothly, went to a side street and drove up and down a few times, the last time I put it in 1 and floored it, did great especially for a car that sat for four years with four year old gas in it. Doesn't miss or stumble. Original radio also works lol! I replaced a fuse and the lights go up and down now!! Now to see if it's going to pass CA emissions... Yay!! I'll get some better pictures when I get it home.

Hey man, it's a bird. LOL

But $240.00 is good. And I thought when I bought my 92 for $500.00 I was doing something. I spend a lot of time looking in peoples garages, driveways and backyards. It is amazing what people have sitting around just waiting for you to ask, "Do you want to sell your thirdgen?"

And it's a rust-free California car to boot. This is why I'm always on here preaching to people not to rebuild rust buckets.

Nice find!

Yeah it is amazing what you can buy a thirdgen for nowadays. Trans Am doesn't look bad there, pretty cool. I'm not too much a fan of carbs but for 240 Id definately buy it.
